A 15-year-old junior high school student in Aichi Prefecture, Japan has been arrested for the attempted murder of his father after stabbing him with a knife.
The incident occurred at around 9:45 a.m. yesterday in the city of Nagoya at the boy’s home.
The teen, who lives with his 49-year-old father, allegedly flew into a rage after being scolded for playing video games. While his father was in the bathroom, the boy attacked him with a knife, stabbing him in the back. After a struggle, the man also received wounds to his abdomen. Despite his wounds, there are no reports to suggest that the man’s condition is life-threatening.
