We here at RocketNews24 know that time is money and sometimes you need more than 24 hours in a day. Until we figure out how to manipulate time, we will be relying on our energy drink expert, Energy Man, to find out which beverage gives us the most bang for our sleep-deprived buck. Energy Man downs at least one or two (sometimes four, he admits) of these stimulant-laden drinks a day and wants to share with us his new favorite drink to wake us all up.
Energy Man recently saw a new drink on the market that he had to try. Being a connoisseur of these jolting beverages, Energy Man wondered if the world needed Wonda Power Blend Coffee in the already crowded energy drink market. Click the link to read why our Energy Man found himself saying “bravo!” to the new coffee drink.
A new kind of can coffee
It is no secret that Japan loves their can coffee. But on Wonda’s company website, it says that they wanted to create a “new kind of can coffee.” Not settling for coffee’s normal jolt, Wonda Power Blend Coffee adds energy supplements and even more caffeine to “give your morning a boost of ‘coffee energy’ to wake you up.”
There is no denying the energy drink business is huge in Japan and with so many new products that can be gimmicky one-hit wonders, Energy Man appreciates that this drink is already in a very popular format.
The taste
As Energy Man guzzled his Wonder Power Blend Coffee, he was hit by its sweet candy-like taste. Energy Man thinks this is the perfect drink for any one who likes a healthy dose of sugar in their coffee.
Lots of caffeine
Energy Man thinks that the most amazing thing about this drink is not its taste, but the amount of caffeine packed into this can. On the side of the can, it says that 100 ml contains 94 mg of caffeine. That means that the 250 ml in one can has 230 mg of caffeine. For comparison, the a 250 ml can of the world-famous energy drink “Red Bull” only contains about 80 mg of caffeine. That’s roughly enough caffeine to be able to see through time itself.
Arginine
Arginine is a popular supplement put in energy drinks to give them an extra boost. Wonda Power Blend Coffee, being the apparent king of energy drinks, does not hold back. While 100 ml of Red Bull may have 120 mg of arginine, this 100 ml of this can coffee packs 128 mg of the supplement. It may be only 8 mg more, but Energy Man applauds the commitment to energy.
Bravo!
So why does Energy Man so heartily recommend this energy drink? Besides the caffeine, arginine and great taste, Energy Man really likes how with this drink, you can get an extra boost to your morning with the normal routine of a can coffee.
The only minor think that Energy Man would ask for is that the company consider a smaller 185 ml version. Other than that, Energy Man throws his full support behind this drink and says that the jolt a can of this coffee is definitely worth the 200 yen (US$2) price tag!
