After weeks of speculation Pokémon GO is finally officially available to download in Japan and here are some of the links you need.
The time has finally arrived! People living in the proverbial land of Pokémon can now enjoy Pokémon GO with the rest of the world.
First, here are the most important links you need to be able to download the game!
You can download Pokémon GO from Google Play here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nianticlabs.pokemongo
Or from the Apple App Store here:

There has been wild speculation about when Pokémon GO would be released in Japan and whether it would be in collaboration with sponsors.
As TechCrunch and others have reported, Niantic (the company that developed Pokémon GO) CEO John Hanke said they will be looking to enhance the game’s revenue through tie-ups with other companies. One such company is McDonald’s, with its stores in Japan set to become “sponsored locations” (otherwise known as “gyms”) where gamers can battle or train their Pokémon.
Pokémon Go was first released in the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand on July 6 and has since been released in around 30 other countries, including Canada, the U.K. and Germany. The game has been an enormous success for Nintendo with the game said to have doubled the value of the company.
Unfortunately, Asia was one of the last continents to see Pokémon GO, though some tech savvy folks were playing it before the official releases.
China was swift to take advantage of the craze with a Chinese company already releasing a noticeably similar game called “City Spirits Go“.

So far we have seen an explosion of Pokémon GO memes and some real life Pokémon – and even the prospect of this cool Pokémon drone to catch Pokémon that can’t be reached by the human foot.
▼ Yep, Pokémon GO memes are also a thing!

Be careful, have fun, and start catching ’em all!!!
