These limited-edition munchies are Master Ball worthy!
Fans were thrilled when the world’s first permanent Pokémon Cafe opened its doors to the public some time ago, allowing customers to immerse themselves in the world of Pokémon.
A year has passed since then, and to commemorate the establishment’s one-year anniversary, the cafe will be implementing a special menu from 14 March to 26 April. On top of regular food and desserts like Pikachu Curry or Eevee’s Sweet Chocolate Parfait, customers can also indulge themselves with some limited-edition treats.
▼ Like this adorable Cherry Blossom Afro Pikachu
Marshmallow Cake (1,706 yen, US$15.30), for example.
▼ Or a warm mug of Cherry Blossom Afro Pikachu Latte (756 yen).
▼ What about a fresh and healthy Bulbasaur Vegetable Burger (1,490 yen)?
▼ Those who prefer meat will not want to miss this
Charizard Roast Beef Volcano Platter (1,598 yen).
▼ Ending your meal with Squirtle’s Bubbly Parfait (1,274 yen) would be perfect.
But the highlight of the one-year anniversary menu has got to be the awesome range of legendary Pokémon drinks and floats, promising to recharge and revitalize you enough to last through several adventures.
▼ Our favorite is perhaps Mew’s Fluffy Marshmallow Drink (1,058 yen).
▼ Chill out with an icy Articuno Float (864 yen).
▼ Refresh yourself with an electrifying Zapdos Float (864 yen)…
▼ …or incinerate your foes with a fiery Moltres Float (864 yen).
Each order of drink comes with a randomly chosen coaster from a pool of six designs, one of which remains a mystery for now.
▼ See if you can collect them all!
▼ What’s more, each customer gets to take home a commemorative
lunch mat featuring Pikachu with cherry blossom afros.
As both the lunch mat and coasters are on a while-stocks-last basis, those hoping to collect these limited-edition collector’s items ought to make early reservations and head down to the Pokémon Cafe when 14 March rolls around.
The adventure does not end there, however, as once you have had your fill of delicious mythical treats, fans can walk over and acquire more goodies at the Pokémon megastore next door.
