Smartphones and tablet devices have proven themselves to be viable gaming platforms… as long as the game suits it. While games like Angry Birds work perfectly, old school gamers (which is probably all of us in this instance) can’t help but struggle with the virtual D-pad and buttons we’ve grown accustomed to in other genres like action games.
So along comes Buttons Anywhere to bring us back that loving feeling of 3D plastic buttons to games like Street Fighter and GTA on the touch screens of newer devices.
Buttons Anywhere offers an easy solution to unknowingly sliding your thumb way off the touch screen by giving you that lovely tactile sensation of throwing a hadoken on your favorite home system game pad. It comes with a directional pad and eight buttons. Four of the buttons are united in a typical SNES pattern but you also get four free-range buttons that can be applied to any game’s configuration.
And since all touch screens are created pretty much equal, the gently attached silicone pads of Buttons Anywhere can be used on whatever you want from an iPhone, iPad, 3DS, PS Vita, Wii U, or anything else. Heck, you can even stick them on your local ATM for some hardcore banking action!
