Heads up, Vocaloid fans, the fifth entry in the “DIVA” rhythm music game series is heading to Sony’s sexy portable. More info and in-game footage after the jump.
Developer Sega has announced that, following the success of the PS3 title in the West, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva f is set for release in North America and Europe in early 2014 as a downloadable title for PlayStation Vita.
The game is a simple rhythm action title that requires players to keep the beat by tapping designated buttons in time with the music and on-screen prompts. But of course, this being a Miku game, all of the tracks are recorded in the digital diva’s dulcet electronic tones. Check out the game in action in the video below.
Upon announcing plans to release the game on Sony’s portable, Sega boss John Cheng commented: “We’re excited to bring this global phenomenon and share it with fans in the West. Now gamers will be able to experience and enjoy Hatsune Miku: Project Diva f anywhere, anytime, and on the go with the portable.”
Sounds good to us!
