Oh, hello there. What are you doing outside of the computer?
There’s already a plethora of ways to spend almost every moment of your life with virtual pop star celebrity Hatsune Miku. You can use your Hatsune Miku credit card, study about Hatsune Miku in your textbooks, and even sleep together with Hatsune Miku.
And now all the time you spend on the computer can also be together-with-Miku time as well, thanks to Wallpaper Engine, available on Steam. Japanese Twitter user @nyaibon posted about it, saying:
▼ “I bought Wallpaper Engine on a recommendation from Twitter, and it’s awesome! Feels so futuristic with a moving background. You can buy it on Steam.”
ついったでオススメが流れてきて衝動買いしたWallpaper Engineいいぞ!

I’m not even a huge fan of Hatsune Miku, and I think that background looks amazing. The way she moves so fluidly, and then that self-aware stare she gives at the end. It’s like she’s living inside of your computer.
Japanese Twitter responded quite enthusiastically:
▼ “Isn’t this amazing?”

▼ “I viewed it in Hatsune Miku VR. I think it’s even more futuristic now lol. Miku no matter where I look, so many Mikus.”

未来感が高まったと思いますw

▼ And one person was kind enough to tweet the system requirements for anyone interested in downloading it.

There were lots of other comments from netizens, many of which resulted in downloads of Wallpaper Engine:
“Whoa, that’s crazy realistic.”
“400 yen (US$3.45) for this is cheap. I bought it.”
“Just installed. My life is complete.”
“I bought it. But it was cheap so I don’t feel bad.”
“MIKU-CHAAAAN!
If these guys are that excited over a Hatsune Miku moving background, I’m not sure we should tell them that they can live with a 3-D version of her as their personal virtual servant.
