Despite Japan being the birthplace of some of the world’s best-known and loved video games, most of the big gaming conventions and trade shows, such as E3 and PAX, take place in the US. But this weekend it’s all about Tokyo, baby. RocketNews24 will, as ever, be swinging by Tokyo Game Show 2015 to bring you all the strangest and sexiest gaming news.

But what kind of things can you expect to see? Well, here’s just a quick sample of our coverage from previous years’ events to whet your appetite!

Sony has already kicked things off with its press conference, where they announced a price drop for the PlayStation 4 in Japan, but Tokyo Game Show 2015 will begin in earnest tomorrow. The event will be held over the next few days at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, with Thursday and Friday reserved for press only, and the doors opening to regular attendees—and cosplayers—on Saturday and Sunday.

RocketNews24 will be there on the floor to capture the weird, the wonderful, and the downright bizarre. As usual, we’ll sniff out the smaller, sometimes overlooked booths and be on the lookout out for the oddest games, booths and gadgets on offer. We’ll also be sure to get plenty of booth babe snaps, and of course at the weekend we’ll be photographing the fabulous cosplayers in attendance.
