Is that a carrot in your curry or are you just happy to see me?
When it comes to bizarre t-shirts, we thought we’d seen it all. Instant-bosom t-shirts, t-shirts with cats vomiting galaxies. But no. Never before had we seen a shirt that made us hungry for the cloth it was printed on.
Until now. The Japanese online shop TANUKI recently put out what they’re calling the “Psychic Curry T-shirt,” and believe us that it sounds weird to say this, but it’s by far the most delicious shirt we’ve ever seen.
▼ Is it getting hot in here or is it just you… cooking curry on your shirt?
▼ Every inch is covered in curry: front, back, sleeves, even the trim. If this
curry were real, we’d expect it to take three sumo wrestlers to finish.
▼ Also includes a rice pocket and bent spoon to eat curry with.
I can think of at least three ways one’s life could improve by owning this shirt: first, people might mistake you for a hot steaming bowl of curry, and that could be a huge boost to your popularity. Second, no one will ever doubt you when you say “I’m a meat and potatoes kind of guy/gal” if you’re wearing this. And third, you don’t have to worry about spilling curry all over yourself when you eat it anymore, because you’re already covered in it.
But hey, why let your curry-wardrobe end there? TANUKI has you covered with:
▼ Spoon earrings, for when you’re out and about and
forget to bring your trusty curry spoon with you.
▼ A curry pot sweater that comes in both
“Wow I Can’t Wait for Curry!” white…
▼ …and “Boy, I Love Curry SO MUCH!” blue.
If any of these items are giving you an insatiable appetite for curry, then head over to TANUKI’s website and check them out. The curry shirt is a little on the expensive side at 8,800 yen (US$87), but it’s a small price considering all of the life-changing opportunities that it offers.
