RocketNews24 goes to Tokyo Game Show 2016!

Tokyo Game Show 2016 got under way today with the first of two press-only days (the public event will be held over the weekend!), and RocketNews24 was on the scene!

It’s that time of the year again, folks! Tokyo Game Show 2016 is upon us, promising an exciting weekend of gadgets, games, cosplay, and fun, and naturally RocketNews24 is here again this year like the giant, unapologetic nerds we are. We’re checking out the hottest games as well as some of the (sometimes admittedly wacky) smaller indie developers, and we’re also on the lookout for all the coolest merchandise on offer! This year, some of the biggest gaming franchises are seeing new releases, including the first-person VR-oriented Resident Evil 7: Biohazard from Capcom, which has split the fanbase down the middle with its apparent sudden change of tone and direction. We’ll be playing a demo of the game, and we’ll try not to pee our pants!

Additionally, Square Enix will be exhibiting a whole host of new Final Fantasy games, and Sega will be showing off the upcoming Yakuza 6 and Persona 5.
