Following in the tradition of Japan getting all the cool Resident Evil stuff, Universal Studios Japan has announced they will be converting a portion of the theme park into a zombie-infested Raccoon City this Fall.
The attraction will run from September 14 to November 11 as a part of the Halloween Horror Nights event.
Universal Studios Japan promises a completely immersive environment featuring plenty of special effects and a cast of performed gathered from around the world.
Zombies and other Resident Evil monsters will wander the Gramercy Park area from 18:00 – 21:00 every day (they’re punctual zombies) and visitors may even spot heroes like Jill Valentine and Claire Redfield.
There will also be a walk-through attraction called “Umbrella Corporation: T-virus Escape” that puts you in the middle of the T-virus outbreak in Raccoon City.
Those who make it out alive can heal their wounds by ordering something from the Resident Evil-inspired menu, such as “T-virus Zombie Brain” pasta (we recently ate brains ourselves!), “Mixed Herb Drink” or “Birkin G” cocktail.
It sounds like an exciting event, but looking at the dog in the promotional image above, we would recommend staying away from windows while walking through narrow hallways during the duration of the event.
