A new series of glasses that cut blue light emitted by computer screens features six beautiful Sword Art Online character designs, plus some gorgeous accessories.
Whenever we sit in front of a computer, television, or smartphone, our eyes are hit with blue light that researchers say is bad for our vision and our health. The good news is we can save ourselves from damage with glasses that block the blue light from screens, and now the folks from Sword Art Online are getting involved, with a special release featuring four characters from the hit anime series. Slightly tinted, each pair of glasses retails for 5,680 yen (US$46.96).
Using Kirito from the Calibur story arc as its muse, these matte black frames feature a cross and the excalibur on each arm.
▼ The glasses also come with a beautifully designed cleaning cloth.

These glasses incorporate the purple, red and yellow colours of Yuuki’s costume and include the bold design from her outfit to capture her brave spirit.
Every time you wipe your lenses you’ll be reminded of Yuuki’s bravery and the beautiful bond she shared with Asuna.
Fairy Dance_Asuna model
Inspired by Asuna’s time in Yggdrasil, the World Tree, these glasses have pale pink frames with a red ribbon and flowing hair depicted on each arm.
You might want to think twice before wiping your lenses at work with this cleaning cloth!
Fairy Dance_Leafa model
These glasses are perfect for those who like Sylvan girls with strength and beauty. The design features green and white curves with a glimpse of Leafa’s gold bracelet.

The cleaning cloth has Leafa promoting nature with her pals.
Aincrad_Kirito model
Kirito appears for a second design, this time with glasses designed around his strength and speed as the Black Swordsman in the Aincrad story arc.
Kirito and Asuna hang out, waiting to wipe your lenses so you can see them better.

Asuna also gets a second pair of glasses, this time with a bright red frame that symbolises the white and red “armour” she wears as a member of the Knights of the Blood Oath clan.
The cleaning cloth will help you regain joy just like Yui did when she connected with Kirito and Asuna in the game.
▼ Customers who purchase the glasses will also receive one of these beautifully designed soft case to store them in.
▼ Specially marked contact lens cases are also available for 250 yen each or 2,250 yen for a complete set of nine designs.
And for ultimate fans, there’s an ultimate set that includes all six pairs of glasses, along with matching cases plus an extra case and two cleaning cloths exclusive to this set. Available for 34,080 yen, there are only 100 of these boxes available.

Unfortunately, the designs are currently not available for international shipping, so if you know someone in Japan or are coming for a visit, be sure you pick up a pair while you can. With designs this gorgeous, the limited-edition frames won’t be around for long!
