Millennium Puzzle and Ring serve as motifs for jewelry inspired by the hit franchise.
With both franchises launching anime series, video games, and collectible card games within two years of each other, Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! will always be somewhat associated with each other. But while they have several things in common, Yu-Gi-Oh! eschews Pokémon’s cheerful atmosphere for an altogether darker tone.
But as part of Yu-Gi-Oh’s continuing 20th anniversary celebration, there’s something bright and shiny coming for fans. Four things, actually, in a new line of Yu-Gi-Oh! accessories from anime fashion label Super Groupies.
The high-ticket item is a necklace inspired by the pyramid-shaped Millennium Puzzle, one of the mystic and powerful Millennium Items of the Yu-G-Oh! world.
Crafted from silver, with gold plating on the Millennium Puzzle itself, the necklace is priced at 14,800 yen (US$144).
If you’re the kind of power-hungry superfan who wants a second Millennium Item, Super Groupies also has earrings modeled after the Millennium Ring. Two different designs are available, one a hook and the other a non-piercing clasp.
Both are made from tin alloy and brass, and sell for 4,800 yen.

Since there’s only one true Millennium Ring, the earrings are sold individually, as those staying truly loyal to the source material will only be using it to adorn one of their ears.
And finally, if you want something that’s a little less flashy, or you’re just a fan of the later segments of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, Super Groupies can also provide you with the pendant worn by Yuya, the protagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V.
The resin charm’s setting and chain are fashioned from silver, and the necklace is priced at 6,800 yen.
Domestic orders can be placed directly through the Super Groupies website (Millennium Puzzle necklace here, Millennium Ring hook earring here, ear clasp here, and Yuya pendant here) with delivery scheduled for mid-October.
