We take a look at some of the well-known bikini models who will be appearing at the party, which is open to the public.

Gravure idols in Japan are known for their glamour photo portfolios, which show off their busty assets in skimpy clothing. The person who shoots the images, setting up the shots and directing the models into their seductive poses, has one of the most enviable roles in the industry, but for one special day in June, it’s a role that anyone can play, at the Visual Queen Photo Party in Tokyo.

The event will be held on 24 June at the Toshimaen Water Park in the capital’s Nerima Ward, with entry divided into three time slots featuring different models. Visitors attending the event will be able to photograph up to 27 of Japan’s top gravure models, who will be parading around in swimwear for photographers.

Let’s take a look at some of the gravure idols who will be in attendance at the event.

Jun Amaki, the 22-year-old known for her busty anime proportions, has been seen in twintails, virgin-killing sweaters, and Disney cosplay. Amaki has a huge following at home and abroad, which means she’ll be drawing crowds of admirers on the day.

“Bottom artisan” Yuka Kuromochi will no doubt be showing off her rear assets for the crowd.

Self-proclaimed “Black Diamond” Rina Hashimoto, who claims to be Japan’s darkest-coloured gravure model, will be showing off her tan at the event.

Rin Tachibana, who says her best features are her eyebrows, will be revealing some of her other assets on the weekend.

▼ G-cup model Tomomi Morisaki will be another favourite for many on the day.

▼ And Saki Yanase will also be there to greet guests with her big…smile.

The photo party is set to commence at 10:30 a.m. on 24 June, with the first time slot scheduled for 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m., followed by the second one at 1:15 p.m.-2:45 p.m., and the third and final one at 3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased on the day at the venue, with entry for the morning period priced at 13,500 yen (US$120.95), the additional second time period priced at 23,000 yen and all three shows priced at 32,500 yen. Tickets can be purchased ahead of the event, until 22 June, at a slightly discounted price from convenience stores like 7-Eleven, with instructions on how to pre-purchase tickets available on the official event website in Japanese.

Ticket prices are steep, but for fans of these models, the chance to see their idols in person and photograph them to their heart’s content will be a priceless experience.
