Once upon a time, face packs were plain. They were white, wet and definitely something you wouldn’t want to be seen wearing. Now, beauty masks are finally becoming beautiful, with newly released endangered animal designs and even prints featuring dramatic kabuki makeup.
From the end of this month, the cats will come out to play. And not just any cats. These are the famous felines from the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Cats. With four cat face packs to choose from, now you can look after your skin and play out your feline fantasies at the same time!
First up we have the wild tomcat, Rum Tum Tugger and the slender, feminine Tantomile.
There’s also the tabby tomcat narrator Munkustrap and Griddlebone, the fluffy white Persian cat.
Both men and women can play dress up with the new masks. As the instructions show, all that’s required is a cute paw pose and you’re all set.
Due for release on 29 June, these masks come in a pack of two for 900 yen (US$8.82) and will be available online and from the Canal City Theatre where Cats is currently playing in Fukuoka. Make sure you get in early to avoid any in-store catfights!
