Beloved Dutch character Miffy’s themed cafe in Tokyo is now open, and satisfied fans have been sharing pictures of the food that looks every bit as adorably delicious as we’d hoped it would!
Japan has so many cute characters, from Hello Kitty to Keroppi, Rilakkuma, and beyond, that you’d be forgiven for thinking they don’t have any room left to give love to foreign-born creations. But in fact, nothing could be further from the truth! European imports like the Finnish Moomins and the Dutch-created Miffy in particular enjoy enormous popularity.
We reported previously that Miffy (known as Nijntje in Dutch) was set to have her very own limited-edition theme cafe at Shibuya’s PARCO mall, and now it’s open! Guests have been excitedly tweeting snaps and videos of their time at the cafe!

The Miffy cafe officially opened its doors on March 18, and will be in residence on the seventh floor of Shibuya PARCO until May 8.

Every meal will come with a free Miffy place mat to take home after you’re done eating, and many of the meals also come with goods like mugs included in the price (or you can opt to just pay for the price of the meal). Lunchtime staples such as curry rice, sandwiches, hamburgers and pancakes are all Miffy-themed, and there’s even Miffy sodas with huge frothy bunny “heads” on top of each drink!
Let’s check out some of the adorable-looking dishes people have been posting on Twitter!
