The self-proclaimed “Netflix of nightclubs” lets you enjoy Tokyo’s nightlife for a great price.
Whether you’re living in Tokyo and like to party it up every weekend or you’re just here for a short visit, the NEON app is the club essential you need.
NEON offers a monthly plan, and now a new weekly plan, which gives users unlimited access to 16 night clubs throughout the Tokyo metropolitan area for a flat rate. Clubs are located in Roppongi, Shibuya, Aoyama, and more, and the number of clubs that accept NEON membership is only expected to grow!
The monthly plan costs 3,900 yen (US$35.55), which, considering that entry fees to nightclubs in Tokyo generally run upwards of 2,000 yen, is a good deal. The app will pay for itself even if you go to only two clubs per month. It may also come in handy for those times where you’ve missed your last train and need a place to hang out until the trains start running again.
Previously only the monthly plan was offered, but now, for travelers just passing through Tokyo for a week or so, the new weekly plan gives you access to all of the same clubs for a one-time weekly rate of 2,900 yen.
And, from now until June 14, NEON is offering a special discount to celebrate the one-year milestone since the release of its beta version, giving new members a 2,000-yen discount off the normal price of both of their plans. This means that the monthly plan will be only 1,900 yen, and the weekly plan only 900 yen! So if you’re planning a trip to Tokyo soon and know you’d like to experience some of the city’s nightlife, this is a great deal you can take advantage of. The app is available for iPhone users through the App Store, or here for Android users.
