Now you can change your nail polish as often as you change your stockings!
With the warmer months approaching, it’s time to peel off our spring layers and bare our legs and toes to the world. And when you want to show off some smooth, sexy pins, there’s nothing like a good pair of stockings to bring an even, one-tone look to our legs. And in Japan, there’s now an ingenious new stocking that’s designed to be worn even in the height of summer, as a perfect partner for open-toe shoes and sandals.
Called the “Fake Nail Stocking”, the separated toe design comes pre-decorated with a variety of nail varnishes so you can change the colour on your toes as often as you change your stockings!
The Fake Nail Stocking comes in a wide variety of designs, with each style including a number of tiny details to resemble the raised rhinestone embellishments of a real pedicure.
▼ There’s the colourful “Paint” style
▼ A marine-themed “Mermaid” design
▼ And a pastel-based “Flamingo” pattern.
▼ Nothing says summer like the citrus hues of “Lime Candy”
▼ While the “Sunny Shower” and “Tile Flower” are a good match for more formal open-toed footwear.
▼ The “Flower” style brings you blossoming petals on each toe.
▼ While the silver and navy blue “Eiffel Tower” pedicure is perfect for lovers of Paris.
▼ And the ever-popular world of Disney is also represented, with “Rapunzel”, “Donald Duck”, “Chip and Dale” and “Tinker Bell” making an appearance.
The stockings are available in full-length or knee-high styles, so you can have pretty toes for any type of outfit or occasion!
▼ The long stockings retail for 1,620 yen (US$14.90) each.
▼ The “short stockings” retail for 1,296 yen.
