Once again, Japan’s 100-yen shops prove that they are truly on the next level.
Who doesn’t love a good bargain, especially when it’s to make life easier? Following our previous articles on the subject, here are seven more items found at 100-yen shops in Japan that deserve some special attention.
1. Soy sauce spray bottle
Sprayable soy sauce?! Why isn’t this more of thing?! Now you can have the utmost control when you need just a drizzle on top of your chilled tofu or sushi. In other words, no more drowning your food by mistake.
2. Plastic bottle cup
This cup fits onto any-sized bottle and is great for picnics when you want to share beverages. It’s easy to remove and easy to pop back on.

3. Liquid measuring cup with the scale readable from the top
Maybe I’m just not looking in the right places, but I’ve never seen one of these in stores or at people’s houses in the U.S. It seems like the perfect tool for chefs with bad backs so that they don’t have to lean over and check how much liquid they’ve poured.

4. Stylish spice containers
There’s something brilliantly simple yet attractive about these containers, courtesy of 100-yen shop giant Daiso. Along with their space-saving design, they’re fully functional at the dinner table too.

5. Fridge shelf condiment holder
If you’ve ever lived with another person, you’ll know that there are two types of people in this world – those who keep the fridge impeccably organized, and those who abandon the shelves to culinary chaos. If you’re the former type, these little holders are the perfect purchase to help organize all of those pesky wasabi and ginger condiment tubes that accumulate and like to roll around. Just clip them onto the fridge door shelf and they’ll never become loose again!

6. Light switch converter
This device slips onto your light switch to make it turn on and off with a simple push only. It may not be an entirely necessary invention, but if you’re one of those people who fumbles around in the dark looking for the light switch when you get home, it could be a lifesaver.

7. Egg timer
Here’s an alternate version to the one we already mentioned. Just throw it in the pot with your eggs and wait for them to cook to your preference.
