This mix-and-match five-piece gold-plated set is perfect for fans who don’t quite know which Sailor Moon character to pledge allegiance to.
The latest collection of planetary symbol earrings from Premium Bandai follows last year’s release, which featured the markings of the five main warriors from the series, Sailors Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus.
This time, we’re travelling to the outer planetary rim, with Sailors Pluto, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Chibi Moon in the spotlight, ready to adorn your ear lobes with their planetary powers. Your look will inevitably be misaligned, however, as the set includes only one earring for each of the five characters.
The five-piece set of 18-karat gold-plated earrings is available in both pierced and non-pierced versions. Retailing for 12,960 yen (US$106), delivery is scheduled for February 2016.
The earrings are embellished with a Swarovski crystal that corresponds to the colour of each character. The symbols measure in at around one centimetre (0.4 inches) in width and one centimetre in height, making them look dainty and elegant.
Chibi Moon from the right, Sailor Neptune from the left. Because it’s hard to play favourites when all the Sailor Moon girls rock!
