Super Groupies brings us another limited-edition set of items from the Clamp series: Cardcaptor Sakura.
Cardcaptor Sakura, or just Cardcaptors in the U.S., combined the magical mystery of tarot cards with the “collect ‘em all” attitude that was popular in the ’90s. The lead heroine, Sakura, proved to be a strong elementary school girl who ran around in wonderful outfits capturing the Clow Cards in order to keep them out of nefarious hands.
Well, our hands definitely want to grab some beautiful bracelets, especially since Japanese retailers always seem to find a way to accessorize this beloved series. This time, Super Groupies and Ma Chere Cossette are combining their Clow powers to bring fans five fabulous bracelets that match color and charms with some of our favorite characters from the manga and anime.
Sakura Kinomoto
▼ Gold charms of Kero and the back of a Clow Card with fuchsia and light pink gems.
Syaoran Li
▼ Gold charms of Syaoran’s talisman and a yin yang from his costume with Peridot, gold and sea green gems
Eriol Hiragizawa
▼ Pewter silver charms of Spinel and the Sun Staff with sapphire, turquoise and diamond gems
Toya Kinomoto
▼ Silver charms of a soccer ball and the high school’s crest with sapphire and aqua gems
Yukito Tsukishiro
▼ Silver charms of a crescent moon and the high school’s crest with light blue and diamond gems
These fantastic bracelets are sold at the Super Groupies store and you can pre-order them online until December 27. Each dazzling bracelet will cost you 1,980 yen (US$16.40) which means it’s not going to break your bank account to purchase the whole set for yourself. Orders will be shipped out at the end of December, so while they won’t arrive in time to be given as Christmas gifts, they would still make fantastic presents in the coming year.
If you aren’t satisfied with pretty bracelets, Super Groupies also has other Cardcaptor Sakura items for sale including Sakura and Clow Card inspired pillow covers. You can also order those online for 4,800 yen ($39.70) each.
You probably never realized how incomplete your Cardcaptor Sakura collection was until you saw all these fantastic new items. Make sure you collect them all before they are sold out forever.
