Whether you’re after Boruto spectacles or glasses from Maho Girls Pretty Cure!, this new store has a huge selection of anime styles to choose from.
Limited-edition anime glasses are one of the things we love about Japan. In the past, we’ve seen styles inspired by characters from Sailor Moon, Sword Art Online, and even Pokémon, but now there’s a one-stop shop where we’ll be able to choose from a huge array of spectacles, all with one thing in common: anime.

Called Animegane (a play on the word “anime” and “megane”, the Japanese word for “glasses”), the new store is being billed as the “world’s first” anime eyewear store, and it’s easy to see why, with every item in their collection connected to the popular genre.
▼ There are styles from visual novel game Fate/stay night…
▼ Boruto…
▼ Girls und Panzer.
▼ And Maho Girls Pretty Cure!
While the frames are all beautifully designed, with motifs that fans will love, each pair of glasses also comes complete with a unique case and cleaning cloths that are equally gorgeous.
All the models in the store range in price from 3,000 yen (US$26.44) up to around 23,000 yen for more detailed designs like these Evangelion glasses.
