Smell like death, or at least the undead, with this brand new limited-edition scent inspired by Biohazard.
The bestselling video game series Resident Evil (Biohazard in Japan) has a number of interesting objects that appear throughout the game world that fans would love to get their hands on. We’re guessing a perfume that’s inspired by the zombie inducing T-virus isn’t one of them.
▼ Fans of Final Fantasy love the Sephiroth and Cloud inspired cologne so this might actually be a huge hit…
The “fresh” scent comes in a bottle with a label that bears a resemblance to the ampoule that the T-virus is normally contained in and will go on sale for the reasonable price of 4,200 yen (US$37.25). Everybody knows, though, that what matters the most about a perfume is how it smells. Keeping the T-virus in mind, the perfumers decided to mimic the highly infectious and explosive dispersal characteristics of the fictional virus when crafting the scent. This probably means that it’s going to smell pretty strong and get on everything. The description of the product even warns users to exercise caution when spraying the perfume! Lucky Resident Evil fans can do the Umbrella Corporation’s dirty work and start spreading the T-virus around starting on March 26.
The Capcom Café will also be selling a deodorizing spray for 1,300 yen ($11.50) which is inspired by the first-aid spray from the games. Going on sale on April 2, you’ll be able to keep a bottle of this on hand in case of smelly emergencies!
There’s only a limited number of these fragrant products that have been made so if you plan on smelling like a zombie virus or getting rid of gross odors in an emergency, make sure you head to the Capcom Café as soon as you can. It never hurts to be prepared for the body odor apocalypse!
