The wait is over to once again enjoy this amazing East-meets-West dessert beverage.

Even if you’ve got a soft spot for Japanese sweets, that doesn’t mean you can’t appreciate Western-style desserts too. For example, I’ve often said that anko (sweet red bean paste) makes everything better, but you could probably make the same argument for chocolate pudding.

So if you’ve got an internationalized palate, you’ll be happy to know that this week Starbucks Japan added an item to its menu that combines two things that are always welcome: matcha green tea and brownies. While the standard green tea Frappuccino has been a Starbucks Japan mainstay for years, as of April 13 you can order a Chocolate Brownie Matcha Frappuccino, which mixes crumbled up bits of brownie into the blended cream beverage and adds even bigger chunks to its whipped cream topping.

While this isn’t the first time for Starbucks to offer the Chocolate Brownie Matcha Frappuccino, the drink has been absent from the chain for roughly the past two years. With absence having made their hearts grow fonder, fans rushed to the nearest branch of the coffee house to get their fix as soon as it made its triumphant return.

▼ Remember, if you can’t decide between the Chocolate Brownie Matcha Frappuccino and the equally tempting Cantaloupe Melon and Cream Frappuccino, there’s no law that says you can’t order both (and some cake too, while you’re at it).

The Chocolate Brownie Matcha Frappuccino is priced at 550 yen (US$5.15) for a tall size, and will be available until May 31.
