Product’s claims to make breasts five times bigger prove to be every bit as dramatic as they say.
When it comes to cosplaying as your favourite female character from the world of Japanese anime, manga and video games, chances are you’ll be needing to add an ample pair of bosoms to your outfit.
While some young women are naturally blessed with a cleavage of anime-sized proportions, for the rest of us, some extra support and padding is called for in the bra department. A lot of the time, though, no matter how many chicken cutlets you stuff in your bra, the difference usually doesn’t turn out to be all that dramatic, which means the end result of our cosplay is left looking a little, well, flat.
Now it appears that the breast gods have answered our prayers and are smiling down upon us, as Japanese cosplayer @is_izu_is has found the ultimate bustline-enhancing product that does everything it claims to, and more.

According to the package, the inserts promise to boost your breast size from an A-cup to a D-cup in seconds, thanks to their thickness of 3.5 centimetres (1.4 inches). Said to be incredibly light, they include a “No.1 by word-of-mouth” 5-star rating, along with the claim, “Strongest in history – 5 times more cleavage!”
Twitter users immediately gave the results a big thumbs-up, with the before-and-after images receiving 50,000 retweets and more than 80,000 likes in less than a week. Comments included:
“This is amazing!”
“I’m off to Don Quijote to buy these immediately!”
“I had no idea these things existed.”
“This is like a gift from the gods!”
“I work part-time at Don Quijote and these sell out all the time – now I know why!”
While the bra inserts bring your breasts together and push them up at the same time to create a whopping cleavage, for even more dramatic results, @is_izu_is says that adding extra padding with pieces of material in any empty gaps will give an even more eye-popping result.
Just how dramatic the results can be is something that can only be verified by giving the product a test-run ourselves, which is a challenge we’re sure our resident pole dancer Mr Sato is up for!
