Fulfill your fantasy of being bombarded by a pack of Corgis.
While animal cafes are traditionally made up of a mix of animal breeds, there are new ones popping up that are becoming more specialized, like pug cafe in Kyoto, and we can’t say we’re complaining. So while putting together your list of must-visit cafes that provide totally unique experiences, did you know there’s one in Asia that specializes specifically in Corgis?
If you ever visit Bangkok, Thailand, then CORGI in the Garden should be a must-visit place on your list. It’s a corgi cafe where you can spend a full hour playing with, petting, and fawning over 13 Corgis.
▼ Warning: you may pass out from cuteness overload.
Many of the Corgis have food-based names, such as Marmalade, and Salmon, and they all have distinct and adorable personalities. Each of them is introduced on Instagram.
▼ Marmalade, the youngest, was born in January. She has a “cute, clever, and charming” personality.
Since the pups have so many facial similarities, you have to look at their Instagram photos reeeeally carefully to be able to recognize them in real life!
▼ If only they came with labels above their heads like this helpful photo.
The system works like this: CORGI in the Garden doesn’t take reservations, so you’ll have to line up to get a ticket. They hold three or four sessions a day where you and 50 other customers can spend an hour with the adorable little munchkins. Ticket sales start 30 minutes before they open (10 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, 12 p.m. Tuesday through Friday).
▼ Here’s what we imagine the lines look like portrayed by Corgis.
If you’ve got that Corgi love in you and you’re willing to line up early for your chance to meet these 13 nuggets, put this on your Bangkok bucket list! You might even be able to use this technique for lining up (but don’t blame us if it doesn’t work).
