Today, we’ve got news about a newly unveiled anime-themed “Bath Time Collection.” And while things can usually get pervy in a hurry when you combine the words “anime” and “bath,” we’re not talking about an inflatable waifu cushion to take in the tub or a waterproof anime boy toy poster to hang in your shower.
That’s because this is Sailor Moon we’re talking about, and Japan’s most successful magical girl is keeping things as classy as she always does with this new line of scrunchies, hair bands, and hair clips.
Actually, it looks like you’ll get more use out of the five-item Sailor Moon Miracle Romance Bath Time Collection while at the sink washing your face than in the tub washing your body, although the offerings will do just as good a job keeping your hair tucked neatly back and out of your eyes in either situation.
The 2,000-yen (US$17) hair band comes in three different styles, featuring either Sailor Moon’s Prism Heart Compact, Transformation Brooch, or Crystal Star Compact (clockwise from top left in the photo below).
The same three designs are available for the foaming face-wash nets, priced at 800 yen each, and the mini hair clips, which come in packs of two, also for 800 yen.
Oddly enough, only the Crystal Star and Prism Heart Compact designs are available for the 1,000-yen scrunchie and 1,500-yen full-size hair clip , but they’re both still made with the same cushiony pile material that the hair band is.
The Miracle Romance Bath Time Collection is scheduled to be in bath and beauty product retailers this July, waiting for ordinary shoppers wanting something a little playful-looking and hard-core Sailor Moon fans planning to pick up all 13 variants alike.
