As one of the most enduringly popular anime franchises aimed at women, Sailor Moon has a huge variety of official jewelry and accessories that fans can adorn themselves with. The complete lineup is so large that some dedicated collectors might even need a way to keep it all organized, and what better way to do so than with a gorgeous accessory stand based on the series’ palatial Moon Castle?
Crafty company that it is, manufacturer Bandai divides its marketing efforts for tie-ins to the original 1990s Sailor Moon anime and its recent reboot Sailor Moon Crystal. This accessory stand is designed for classic Sailor Moon fans, as the Moon Castle is modeled after the artwork seen in the opening of the original anime.
Rising out of the castle is Sailor Moon’s Moon Stick, with star-shaped pegs on which to hang accessories and a stand for the Illusionary Silver Crystal.
The crescent moon-topped spires of the palace itself also serve as convenient places to drape the chain of a necklace.
Included with the accessory stand is this metal-plated music box, which oddly enough doubles as a candy holder that comes with a supply of peach-flavored mints.
The Sailor Moon Moon Castle Accessory Stand is priced at 5,940 yen (US$50) and can be ordered here through the Premium Bandai website. Shipping is scheduled for next January.
