The “Brilliant Capsule” sales area in Shinjuku is filled with plenty of adorable and ladylike anime goods!

Following the opening of the Bandai beauty store for women in Tokyo Station, another anime-themed paradise has appeared for the female market, and this one is filled with adorable toys and accessories hiding inside gacha toy capsule vending machines. The pop-up event has delighted shoppers around the city five times before, at various fashion store buildings, and now it’s time for Shinjuku’s Lumine Est to play host to the sweet-looking machines for 21 days only, from 1-21 August.

This is the best place to fill up on cute and sparkly miniature goods from some of the country’s most loved anime franchises. One of the highly recommended ranges in the store is the second series of Sailor Moon Transformation Compact Mirrors, which are actually due to go on sale around Japan from the end of August, meaning customers here get to purchase them before anyone else in the country!

In addition to the Sailor Moon items, there will also be merchandise from other anime franchises like the popular Osomatsu-san. With all items in the machines costing just 400 yen (US$3.88), there’s sure to be a huge crowd when the area opens on 1 August, so pop by early to avoid missing out!
