Happy holidays to our readers both in Japan and around the world!

Thanks to our earnest efforts to be good boys and girls over the past 12 months, plus no doubt an assist from bribing the guy with some of Starbucks Japan’s not-made-by-Starbucks cookies, Santa left us plenty of presents this Christmas. As a matter of fact, we think we’re going to take the rest of the day off and spend it playing with our new Pokémon GO specialty shop merch, trying on our new PlayStation T-shirts, and cooking up batches of Japan’s mail-order ramen of the year.
