Face off with two of the horror world’s most terrifying characters as they make you look both shocking and beautiful at the very same time.

Despite being two of the most feared women in Japanese cinema history, Sadako, from the Ring movie series, and Kayako, from the Ju-on (The Grudge) franchise, are suddenly popping up everywhere in the lead-up to their crossover film, Sadako vs. Kayako, which is due to be released in Japan on June 18. Kayako and her son have been sharing photos of their day-to-day lives on Instagram and appearing with Sadako as terrifying cup clinger figurines, and both of the terrifying women have shown up to implore viewers to vote for them in humorous election campaigns. Now the two ladies are ready to take over your face with a new set of moisturising face masks.

Containing hyaluronic acid, collagen, and aloe vera extracts, these masks endeavour to keep you looking young and supple underneath, while making you look ghoulishly terrifying on the outside. Sadako comes with the surprisingly non-terrifying scent of lavender while Kayako smells like roses.

The “Turn into Sadako vs Kayako Face Pack” retails for 800 yen (US$7.30) and contains one of each character for you to enjoy on your own or share with a friend so you can recreate all the terror from the upcoming movie inside your very own home. The face packs will be released in conjunction with the opening of the movie on June 18 and can be purchased from cinemas, drugstores and Don Quixote shops within Japan.
