Let your smartphone dream of electric rodents with this gorgeous new range of cosy futons.
From tiny kitchen appliances to bandanas for your pet cat, if you’re after something cute and unusual, Japan’s gachapon capsule toy machines know how to deliver. Their latest offering combines two of Japan’s most well-known creations, futons and Pokémon’s Pikachu, and presents them to us in miniature form.
Available from February 5 for 400 yen (US$3.40), there are five varieties of futon available, each with its own little pillow so your smartphone has a comfy place to rest its head.

The fifth futon has a mystery design that will only be revealed to those lucky enough to receive one from at random from the vending machines.
Measuring 16 centimetres (6.3 inches) in length, the miniature Japanese-style beds will keep your phones snug, but they’ll also keep your figurines nice and warm too. Kitan Club, the producers of the tiny futons, suggest tucking one of their Pikachu cup-clinging characters under the covers for peak cuteness!
