Dale Roll

Dale is a world traveler, but her heart will always be in Japan, and not just because she had to sell it to get enough money to FINALLY get that giant Lapras plushie from a UFO catcher. She spent her youth devouring East Asian pop music and dramas, and her student days with her nose in books about the Heian period and the history of Chinese medicine in Japan, so when she moved to Japan it was like a dream come true. She loved her life there and everything that Japan had to offer, but after grudgingly admitting that she loves her husband, whom she met there, even more, she moved with him to Spain. When she isn’t writing or struggling to speak Spanish that isn't mixed with Japanese, she likes to spend her free time eating tasty food, playing Pokémon, rewatching Sailor Moon, and annoying her husband with impromptu karaoke solos.
